ABOUT ME

Nattaly Aranda is a deaf artist passionate about making illustration books for young Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing children. She also enjoys creating or drawing characters, backgrounds, storytelling, and short comics. Her hobby is sewing clothes for her dog, Maddie.

Nattaly grew up in South Texas as known as The Valley. She is the only Deaf in the hearing family and attended mainstream schools. She had limited knowledge of deaf culture and community until she entered Gallaudet University in 2017. She graduated with a Fine Art Media of Bachelor's Degree and a minor in Graphic Design in May 2021. Nattaly studied ART (American Sign Language) to understand the "Deaf Experience" and "Deaf Culture." After graduation, Nattaly started to develop her projects as a freelance graphic designer and a digital artist.
